The vice president and managing director for NBA Africa, Amadou Gallo Fall received the Leadership in Sport Business at the 2018 South African Sport Industry Awards
After receiving the award, Mr Fall commented that he was honored and was proud that the work of the NBA Africa office has not gone unnoticed for the past 8 years
“One of the highlights for me ever since we opened the Africa office is the team we have been able to assemble. They are committed people who are very passionate about the work they do. This might be an individual award but it also speaks to the quality of the NBA Africa team,” he said.
“As basketball continues to grow on the continent, it is great to also start to capture the attention of the market,” Gallo Fall said.
Two weeks ago, the NBA hosted it’s third NBA Africa game in Gauteng, Pretoria to a sold out crowd at the Sun Arena.
“We are going to continue to push forward with our mission on the continent and I am personally excited about the opportunity to continue growing basketball and the NBA brand across Africa,” said Fall.
