Anderson Paak came through with a surprise for fans late Sunday night when he posted a picture of him and Kendrick.
Anderson Paak, who currently has an album, Oxnard on the way, teased a upcoming feature with Kendrick Lamar with a picture on his Instagram account captioned “October 4 “ and whilst the exact format of the collaboration is still unknown, although the background may give hints of a video shoot, the song itself is expected to be executive produced by Dr. Dre, who is a mentor to both Andy and Kendrick and was responsible for the production of Paak’s next album.
Although Anderson Paak refused to disclose any a date for his next album Oxnard, he has confirmed it’s completion, praising Dr. Dre for his efforts invested in the project. This will be Anderson Paak’s first record under Dr. Dre’s Aftermath label.
This will be Kendrick and Paak’s first official collaboration despite them both both appearing on the same albums before, in Dr Dre’s Compton and on the Black Panther: The Album
