Kwesta is coming out this summer with his latest single, Vur Vai.
Kwesta has made hits lingering back from 2016 with Ngud and in 2017 when he dropped Spirit ft Wale.
Kwesta announced the Vur Vai at 7am and it already has hip hop heads all around bumping their heads.
Listening to Vur Vai, one can easily detect the Kwaito element of the song. With that being said, Kwaito seems to be the main influence in most of Kwesta’s hits. The Kwaito genre has also influenced South African music to the extent that it’s not only limited to hip hop, but other genres such as house music, moving the concept of South African Rap into a ‘New Age Kwaito’ landscape.
The song is produced by Makwa and Kwesta kept the cover art simple for Vur Vai, regardless of his raising status, we see Kwesta in a ghetto setting.
Kwesta has already received feedback from a majority of fans, at this rate, the song could already be a hit for December. Here is what fans had to say about the new single Vur Vai.

“iVIP yani? s’jaiva na bantu” Kwesta says on the lyrics. Wink, wink.
