Tekashi 6ix9ine’s “Dummy Boy” Project – Featuring Kanye West and Nicki Minaj, Postponed Following Arrest

There’s a lot that can be said about Tekashi 6ix9ine, and not even about music.

Tekashi 6ix9ine has built a reputation in the industry for causing a lot of noise around him, one thing that keeps 6ix9ine’s name relevant in the business, apart from his music.

Recently Tekashi 6ix9ine fell into trouble after he was arrested for charges of racketeering, firearms, assault with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy of murder.

A few days ago, just hours before his arrest, 6ix9ine shared a tracklist for his upcoming album titled Dummy Boy, the album comes with features from Nicki Minaj on FEFE and MAMA, Bobby Shmurda, Tory Lanez, Kanye West, Gunna and more.

Following his previous post (above) on Instagram, 6ix9ine followed up by announcing that the release of Dummy Boy will be postponed until further notice. Dummy Boy was initially scheduled to drop on Friday, 23 Nov. But due to “circumstances beyond our control” the album was never released.

Murda Beatz, on the other hand, decided to tease fans about leaking Dummy Boy. The producer, who is expected to have played a huge role in the production of Dummy Boy, apparently posted a picture on Instagram which led to speculation that he might leak the project. But as much as we would love Murda to leak the project, it would just lead to some legal problems between him and 6ix9ine.

Besides FEFE, Murda Beatz also produced another track on 6ix9ine’s Dummy Boy which 6ix9ine shared on his Instagram profile. Check it out below.

No further information about the postponement of the project has been released and it’s still unknown whether the official release for Dummy Boy will be in 2018 or early 2019.
