Although the Tokyo 2020 Olympics have been cancelled due to the COVID-19 epidemic, German sportswear brand, Adidas, has kept its momentum after recently announcing the Olympics-inspired Adidas ZX Torsion.
The new Boost-cushioned, Torsion-stabilized ZX silhouette is not too different from others in the ZX line. Similar to the ZX 8000 co-created by Adidas and Metropolitan, the ZX Torsion features mixed synthetic and textile uppers in black while the white stitching on the ZX Torsion contrasts the black upper. The Adidas 3 Stripes on the lateral side of the sneaker consist of the colors green, yellow and blue – colors that are also repeated at the heel of the ZX Torsion. The ZX Torsion also features “TORSION” branded lace dubraes and tooling across both the midsole and the outsole. The silhouette is finished off with the Olympics torch graphic on the tongue of the ZX Torsion.
The ZX Torsion is expected to release in the coming months and will be available on the official Adidas website. Take a closer look at the ZX Torsion below.
